3. Personal information collected by this site and why we collect it
This site collects and uses personal information for the following reasons:
3.1 Traffic Tracking
Like most sites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people who visit our site, to understand better how they reach and use our web pages, and watch the route through the site.
Although GA records data such as your geographical location, device, web browser, and operating system, none of this information identifies you personally. GA also records your computer's IP address, which could be used for your personal identification, but Google does not give us access to it. We believe that Google is the processor.
GA use cookies, details can be found in the Google Developer Guides. Our site uses GA's analytics.js application.
Disabling cookies in the internet browser will prevent GA from tracking any part of your visit to pages in this website.
3.2 Contact Forms and Email Links
In case that you choose to contact us using the contact form on the Contact Us page or any other internal contact form on the pages with our services, none of the data you provide will be transferred / processed by any processor , as defined in section 6.0. Instead, the data will be into an e-mail and will be sent to us via the Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP). SMTP servers are protected by TLS (sometimes known as SSL), which means that e-mail content is encrypted using 256-bit SHA-2 encryption before it is sent over the Internet. Email content is decrypted by local computers and devices.
3.3 Electronic newsletter
If you choose to subscribe to our email newsletter, the email address you provide will be forwarded to Moosend, our email marketing service provider. We assume that Moosend is the processor (see Section 6.0 below). The email address you submit will not be saved in the website database or in any of the internal computer systems.
Your email address will remain in the Moosend Database for as long as we continue to use Moosend Email Marketing Services or until you explicitly request removal from the list. You can do this by using the unsubscribe links in any of the newsletters email we send you.
If you are under age 16, you MUST obtain parental consent before you can log in to our email newsletter.
While your email address remains in the Moosend Database, you will receive sporadically (approximately once a month) email updates from us. More information about data security in Moosend can be found here: https://moosend.com/trust/.
4. How we store your personal information
As described in detail in section 3 above, if you submit a message to our contact forms some personal information will be stored in the database of this site. Also, if you decide to buy one of the products that are in our e-shop, you will need to create a user account. This data is currently stored in a recognizable manner, a restriction of the content management system on which this site is based (Joomla). In the near future we aim to change the storage of this data using pseudonymisation, which means that the data would require additional processing using a separately saved "key" before it can be used to locate a person.
Pseudonymisation is a recent requirement of the GDPR that many web application developers are currently working on full implementation. We are committed to maintaining it as a high priority and will achieve it on this site as soon as we can.
